Grant Guidelines

Grant applications are provided by invitation only. The foundation will primarily consider grants in the following areas:

Education

Support of organizations promoting equal access to quality education to underserved communities; particularly those focused on Early Childhood Education.

Jewish Life

Support of organizations promoting core Jewish values and are focused on expanding outreach, education, and helping those who are most vulnerable.

Social Justice

Support of organizations promoting and protecting civil liberties and personal freedoms.of organizations promoting and protecting civil liberties and personal freedoms.


Eligibility Requirements

Important: Only organizations meeting the following requirements will be invited to apply for grant consideration.

  • Organizations must have a current 501 (c)(3) status from the United States Internal Revenue Service
  • Projects and programs should be aligned with the Foundation’s interest areas
  • Applicants should not have delinquent Grant Reports for previous grants from the Samuels Family Foundation
  • Organizations are not eligible to receive more than one grant per calendar year
